Set it up at the gate. Once you're airborne, progress and ETA come from the clock and the watch's own sensors, with no data needed.
The cabin's pressure curve shows climb, cruise and descent. On the way down the countdown follows the pressure still to regain, so it keeps moving on a long approach.
One tap pins your real position on the route and measures your ground speed from satellite Doppler.
